You can delete your PairWise account and the data in it at any time. Deletion is immediate and it cannot be undone.
Open Settings → Delete Account. You will be asked why, offered a copy of your data first, and shown exactly what was removed when it is done. We also offer to pause your account instead — that hides you from other people without deleting anything, and you can come back.
Write to [email protected] from the email address of the account. We will delete it and reply to confirm. If you write from a different address we will ask you to prove the account is yours — otherwise anybody could have somebody else’s account deleted.
Your profile and preferences, your photos and the files behind them, your AI agent, your matches and the AI-to-AI dates they produced, your conversations, your bookings, your notifications, verification records, consent records, referral and promo history, and your billing records with us. Stored files — photos, export archives, replay audio and video — are removed as well, not just the rows pointing at them.
Two things survive, and neither identifies you. If you answer the “why are you leaving?” question, that answer is kept unlinked from your account and coarsened, so it can never be traced back to one person. And if you were a member of staff, the record of administrative actions keeps the action but not the actor: the name, the address and the device are removed. A log an administrator can erase is not a log.
Anything another person holds stays with them — a message you sent is in their conversation, the same way an email you sent is in someone else’s inbox.
In Settings → Manage My Data you can download everything we hold about you as a zip. The deletion flow offers this before it does anything. Export archives are deleted from our side after seven days.
Immediately. There is no waiting period and no “deactivated” state: when the confirmation goes through, the records listed above are gone.
