Your privacy is central to PairWise. This policy explains what we collect, how your AI agent uses it, and the controls you have. Privacy by design. Safety by default.

Profile details you provide (photos, age, location, values, preferences), interview answers, and activity needed to run your AI agent and find compatible matches.

Your information trains your personal AI agent to represent you, evaluate compatibility, and generate AI date simulations. Your data is encrypted and never sold.

We use identity verification to keep the community real. Conversations are private and protected.

PairWise sets no cookies. Signing in stores a token in your browser's local storage, along with a handful of things the app cannot work without: whether you finished sign-up, a half-typed sign-up form so you don't lose it, an invite code if you followed one, and your answer to the cookie question itself. Those are required and cannot be switched off while you use the app.

We currently run no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind — no Google Analytics, no Tag Manager, no advertising pixels. The only third-party script is Google's sign-in SDK, and it is fetched only when you actually press “Continue with Google”. If we ever add analytics, personalization or marketing storage, it will not run unless you have allowed that category in Cookie Preferences, which you can open from the sign-in screen or from Settings at any time. Your answer is kept in your browser and, if you have an account, recorded with its date.

You can edit your preferences at any time in Settings. To take a copy of everything we hold about you, use Settings → Manage My Data — we package it as a zip and delete it after seven days.

To stop being shown to people without losing anything, you can pause your account. To delete the data itself, use Settings → Delete Account: it removes your profile, photos, matches, conversations and AI meetings, including the stored files, and it cannot be undone. We offer you a copy of your data first, and we tell you exactly what was removed.
